BEFORE

The tv was close to the sofa, the traffic flow between the sofa and bar was tight, and the tv was the center of attention.  Also, the colors were off balance.

PROJECT

The couple wanted a more modern space with traditional accents.

NEW FLOORPLAN

Here's the new floorpan which added more northern sunlight to their main living space by opening up the wall and adding sliding barn doors.  Also, the breakfast bar was turned sideways and elongated to allow more space for the living room, and a place to dine.  This also allowed them to remove their kitchen table and chairs.

MOODBOARD

The final result was a modern neutral space with traditional accents, and a pop of yellow.  The sliding barn doors added a ton of natural sunlight too.
